The BIG MOUTH intake duct allows the air to be guided through the intake path with minimal loss in total pressure and velocity. Optimum flow diffusion (expansion) from the grill area into the stock inlet path is key. Keeping the air moving at high speed all the way to your airbox is truest form of ram induction.

It is very difficult to provide accurate gains on a dyno with a part that works off velocity. On a dyno, you measure power. Moving, you can measure air flow.
