Boundary oil pump gears are 100% manufactured in our Dallas, Texas production facility. We start by quenching our chromoly billets from extreme heat and then temper it to a tough indestructible core. After machining, we apply our ColdFlow surface hardening process and complete it to a Mirror Finish. What does all this give you? It gives you a pump with stability over 9000 RPM, proven over 2000whp, with higher efficiency, less friction, and backed by one of the industry’s best warranties.

Our release of the Boundary Black series is to set a new precedent in Gerotor technology. These new gerotors feature both our MartenWear super surfaces for low friction and high wear capability along with our industry-leading ported gerotor designs. Boundary now offers this technology in the Ford F150 gearset. This is recommended for high RMP vehicles. It is a smaller gear which further reduces cavitation.

This new Ford F150 gear has the following features:

  1. MartenWear and ColdFinish combination makes the surface capable of 13000 RPM surface speeds without wear.

  2. Ported gerotor greatly increases the surface area available for flow and allows the flow to move straight through the outer gerotor instead of having to go up across and down to pumping cavity. This has many benefits.

    1. Less cavitation which reduces aeration and foaming of the oil

    2. More flow at high RPM

    3. Less pumping losses

    4. Less heat in the oil

Our new dual-rotor design will keep your engine performing even under the worst and most punishing race conditions. These gears produce more pressure and flow at all RPMs than OEM style or any other gear produced for the Coyote platform. It combines several technologies, including the Martenwear Dual Heat Treatment, Vane Porting, and the newest addition, the Dual Rotor Design. The dual rotor creates two distinct pumps in one to maximize both flow and pressure across the RPM range.

This new gear has the following features:

The Coyote crankshaft timing sprocket with grip surface improves the durability of the crankshaft snout and keyway by limiting the movement of the harmonic balancer.

Billet Crank Sprockets from Boundary follows the same heritage as our oil pump gears, manufactured 100% in-house with US-sourced materials. These sprockets start with Chromoly steel that is ten times stronger than the OEM powdered metal, hot quenched with a low temper for the highest strength and resistance to wear.
